Description/Blazon
215th Army Band Baldric

Symbolism
The color blue and gold are taken from the Massachusetts State flag.  The wavy, a heraldic symbol for water, reflects the State's nickname, "The Bay State," and alludes to Massachusetts' seaside location as well as the importance water has played in the State's development and industries.  The six stars refer to Massachusetts' entry into the Union as the sixth state, while the Mayflower and elm branches are representative of the State flower and State tree.  The red pentagon with the State crest are from the shoulder sleeve insignia of the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
